A big part of SEO is coming up with new and creative ways to market your clients through social media and the general Internet and I have recently come across a lecture series that can give you the extra burst of creativity.
Creative Mornings brings guest speakers to cities (I counted nearly 50) across the world. They get a sponsor to provide breakfast, coffee, and juice and an interesting speaker. Yes, all of it is free. All you need to do is sign up on their website, Creative Mornings. April will be the first month that Creative Mornings comes to Austin! Though April’s event is filled up, you can sign up on the wait list to be notified if a ticket should become available.
Creative Mornings meet once a month and the idea is to give guests a dose of creativity before their work day begins. The events start at 8:30 AM and end at 10:00 AM. I am someone who is always seeking new inspiration and motivation in my SEO career. Much of it comes from reading SEO blogs but in an isolated career that is work from home with minimal social interactions, Creative Mornings sounds like the perfect way to get inspiration from local entrepreneurs.
This month in Austin, the speaker is Austin Kleon an author and artist. Kleon wrote Steal Like an Artist and Newspaper Blackout. The prior work speaks about how to find inspiration in the digital age which is a topic I find very relevant to my own life.
